Culture vs Islam
I just watched this vid, it is so FUNNY and sad at the same time however, it is so TRUE. This bro makes a lot valid points about the way Muslims nowadays are compromising and mixing the teaching of Islam with their cultures, which ends up not only confusing the kids but also the non-Muslims around them. This is the sad reality and the state of the Muslim Ummah. Subhana'Allah! That brother is so truthful! Many of us put "culture" before Islam, and that's how the non-Muslims judge us. I think it's time that we put Islam first and culture way behind.
thats so true Om,but modern day Muslims get so absorbed in their cultures and traditions that they seem to think its part of Islam. It’s really sad how ignorant people judge Islam as a result of the fusion of Islam and culture, thank God for the intelligent people who see through this and insha’allah some day everyone will.

I think many people confuse their ways of life with Islam.Islam is very clear and cultures vary.
For example, FGM, sexual assault and violence at home, wife beating etc...
Islam doesn't give you the right to beat your wife her senses.There are limits in Islam.
Islam doesn't ascribe to sexual violence, homo-sexuality,lesbianism, drinking, sexual freedom, assaults, terrorism and more..
Muslims are supposed to be example of others.The religion of Islam is about peace, love and understanding.
Families are supposed to live in happiness together,cohabit in love, with the wills of Allah...Surah Nisaa(women)NO.4 explains.
Theirs is Dignity for US in ISLAM.
Bro Rendezvous, everything that you have said is so true. Unfortunately as Muslims we are moving away from the true teachings of Islam, which really confuses alot of people.
